At Root & Rise, healing isn’t one-directional—it flows both ways. We created a space where clients receive deep, nervous-system-based care and clinicians receive the mentorship and support they need to thrive. We're the bridge between depth and accessibility — where integrity meets impact.
We saw the same challenges on both sides of the therapy room:
Clients feeling stuck, disconnected, and tired of talk therapy that doesn’t reach the root
Clinicians feeling burned out, isolated, and longing for real community and guidance
At Root & Rise, we’ve built something different—a collective where clients and clinicians grow together through trauma-informed, nervous-system-rooted therapy that honors the whole person.
At Root & Rise Collective, we believe therapy should be both accessible and affordable. That’s why we accept a wide range of insurance plans, including Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, CHP+, Colorado Access, Colorado Community Health Alliance, Northeast Health Partners, Cigna, Evernorth, Health First Colorado, Medicaid, Optum, Oxford, and Rocky Mountain Health.
In addition to insurance, we also offer private pay (self-pay) options. This gives you the flexibility and ease of access to begin or continue therapy even if you prefer not to go through insurance. Whether you’re using insurance or paying out-of-pocket, our goal is to make therapy feel approachable and sustainable for you.
What makes Root & Rise different from traditional therapy practices or group practices?
Root & Rise integrates nervous system-first, trauma-informed care with a true collective model. That means we prioritize somatic healing, polyvagal theory, and deep relational work—for both clients and clinicians. We’re not a therapy mill. We’re a community built on attunement, mentorship, and sustainability.
Are your therapists licensed?
All of our therapists are pre-licensed LPCCs working under close weekly supervision by seasoned clinicians. They’re deeply trained in somatic, trauma-informed, and relational modalities—and supported every step of the way to ensure high-quality, ethical care.
Do you offer remote therapy?
Yes. We are a remote-first practice, offering virtual therapy across Colorado. Our model is designed to make deep, consistent care more accessible—whether you’re a busy parent, a rural client, or a therapist looking for more flexibility.
How do you match clients with the right therapist?
We take time to get to know your needs, preferences, and nervous system patterns—so we can connect you with a therapist who feels safe, attuned, and aligned. Whether you want someone warm and gentle or more direct and structured, we’ve got you.
What kind of support do clinicians receive at Root & Rise?
Clinicians receive weekly 1:1 supervision, ongoing mentorship, community calls, and access to trainings rooted in somatics, attachment, and trauma. We’re here to help you grow without burning out. You don’t have to do it all alone.
Can I use insurance?
We are actively working to become in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Medicaid, and others. We believe high-quality care should be both effective and accessible.
